  1. Is there an old airline movie or series about an airliner caught in a time warp or other dimension?

    1. There are a few movies and series that feature airplanes getting caught in time warps, alternative dimensions, or mysterious phenomena, though they may not focus exclusively on airlines. Here are a few notable ones:

“The Langoliers” (1995): A television miniseries based on the Stephen King novella of the same name. It tells the story of a group of passengers on a cross-country flight who, after passing through a time rift, are left alone on the plane and eventually land in an eerie deserted version of their airport. They must unravel the mystery to survive.

“The Twilight Zone” (1959-1964): The original television series often featured episodes involving airplanes and strange phenomena. One of the most famous is “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” where a passenger sees a creature on the wing of the plane. Also, “The Odyssey of Flight 33” involves a commercial airliner that somehow travels back in time.

“Millennium” (1989): In this movie, an airline safety investigator discovers a device that can transport people through time. It’s a bit different than the typical “airliner caught in a time warp” scenario but involves similar themes.

“Lost” (2004-2010): While it’s not about an airline per se, the central plot point of the television series involves the survivors of a crashed passenger jet who find themselves on a mysterious island where time doesn’t always behave as expected.

  2. great. im looking for an old movie where a commercial airline was mistakenly hit by a military test missile. a passenger was guided on how to land it but the flight company wanted it taken down so as to avoid paying the passengers. fortunately airtraffic controllers assisted the passanger to land the aircraft.
